During the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, he served as the Venue Security Manager-ICC in Dhaka, Bangladesh, which honed his expertise in international security management. He has also served as adjutant the International Maritime Academy, where his leadership and organizational skills in human resources and administration were well praised. In addition, Major Asif Reza has held senior roles in various multinational companies, gaining experience in security services, workforce management, and operational strategies. He has served as the head of operation at the Sentry Security Services Limited and also acted as the project manager of the SSSL-Chevron project from 2015-2019.
